Sailor Moon Exposed Part 6 Chibiusa's loss of her Autonomy

 As I was looking at manga panels of the Sailor Moon Manga. I saw a panel when Chibiusa was near death without her Silver Crystal and I realised Chibiusa has the same state of her mother by the end of Stars, the loss of herself as a person but now regarded to others as a concept. 

We will look at Chibiusa's arc and how she is preyed upon for her Silver Crystal (just like Sailor Moon)  in the major arc featuring her (Infinity) 

Note: At the start of Arc 2 Chibiusa is 900 and in the body of an 8- 9 year old (a child) and through out the manga she gets older. I will show images of how she looked from arc 2-5

Her appearance in Parallel Sailor Moon as a teenager 

 

A representation of stripping of herself as a person into an object is when you see her naked during the manga. An example of this is  when her soul is being shown to Mamoru via Hotoru (as seen below)  and this is alluded to in Crystals Season 3 OP

In the Infinity arc it focuses on the mystery of Hotoru Tomoe.

It was a close call that Usagi was there because if not I shudder what would have happened to Chibiusa

Chibiusa SHOWS OFF her Silver Crystal and explains it before healing Hotaru from her fit. Didn't her mom, dad or Usagi tell her you NEED to keep it hidden. Look at what happened last time.

Previously in the Black Moon Arc:

Usagi had to make sure she had the two Silver Crystals to protect them from being used by the enemy. That failed and Prince Diamond nearly destroyed the UNIVERSE, if Sailor Pluto did not sacrifice herself to stop time.

Back onto our topic:

This action  turns out to be a bad idea because the moneter inside Hotaru craves the power and ends up reacting like this in closeness with the aura of the Silver Crystal.  Eventually it found an oppetunity to seize it for  itself. 

There is also this scene where Chibiusa is walking alone after seeing Hotarus real body and due to hail  that is falling from the sky  she feels very weak and collapses.

 Why isn't any of the characters with her?Remember the last time what happened when she went somewhere alone? She got kidnapped.

Sailor Moon finds her just in time  and Chibiusa transforms to fight the enemy of the week. 

Note: This whole sequence is foreshadowing the Starseed subplot in the Sailor Stars Manga.

When Sailor Chibi Moon enters Horatu's house  she is faced with Misteress 9 and  is MURDERED ON SCREEN.

Mistress 9 

  Chibiusa becomes Hotaru's accquaintance and the duo form a close friendship for the duration of the arc. Only for Chibiusa  to be killed by Misteress 9 when she is awakened within Hotaru's body.  Sailor Chibi Moon wanted to see her friend and is shaken by the reality that she needs to be killed due to her being the cause of the apocalyose. That action  costs Chibiusa  greatly.

This event also traumatizes Usagi further  because her at 14-15 years old has to watch a child that she deeply cares about (and is her future daughter) being at the point of near death. Usagi  desperatley wants to find a way to save her.  She  is a teenager, she does not need to go through these things at such a young age.

 

 This is one of the darkest arcs in the manga because we see a child coded character DIE and Tuxedo Mask has to find a way to get Chibiusa's Silver Crystal back. 

In the Stars Arc the SC is the Starseed or the SOUL of the person so what Mistress 9 did was murder her. Without her Silver Crystal in essence Chibiusa in gem form, her physical body ceased to function. Thankfully due to Mamoru using his powers to keep her alive she was able to hold on for a while until Hotoru returned her soul to her body.

In a similar fate to her mother, people only gravitate to Chibiusa for her Silver Crystal due to it's power. This arc shows how dangerous it is to let a child be in the presence of someone she does not really know only for her to get preyed on again by an evil force. (First it was Wiseman and now Misteress 9)

Chibiusa learns to trust Hotaru, hangs out with her until M9 appears and steals  her crystal forcibly, it is an analogy for stranger danger and this event posibly traumatised Chibiusa ( along with what she already went through by loosing her home to the Black Moon Clan in the 30th Century). 

 Strangely enough Chibiusa  seems to be fine in later arcs, why is this NDE not being addressed that happened to a child coded character?

Her future parents (who are teens by the way) have to risk their lives to save hers, no teenager should be tasked with this.  Ever since the Black Moon Arc, Usagi and Mamoru already lost their sense of innocence and childhood when they met and took care of Chibiusa. (adultification.)

I also realised the amount of 'secrets' the older characters tells Chibiusa to keep and to automatically trust them and she DOES that because she does not know any better. This arc truly is a parents nightmare. 

This is giving off bad implications here and showing young girls that it is okay to keep things from your guardians. 

Chibiusa LIES to Usagi about what she told Michiru and Haruka. Those are STRANGERS. They do not know Usagi well, when they met with her, it was threatening , SA or being vauge about their intentions. Are these REALLY people that should be around your future child?

With this in mind Chibiusa might have the same fate as Sailor Moon in the 30th century being hunted down for her Crystal after Usagi takes the throne. In the NEW WORLD things are left ambiguious at their fates. 

It is implied that the  Galaxy Cauldron will be reborn  as well as CHAOS, the entity that seeked out Sailor Moons Crystal through its various incarnations in the previous world  to swallow up Sailor Moon's Silver Crystal and DESTROY the universe. Who is to say that in this world Chaos would target Sailor Chibi Moon in this new relem? Only time will tell.

In the end Chibiusa will not be spared from the fate of being a concept, an object  due to holding an all powerful jewel. Just like it was  seen in this arc how easy it was for Misteress 9 to murder her by manipulating her trust in Hotaru who is to say it would happen again in the future? 

This is a chilling warning for younger girls to not trust strangers because you do not know what they would be hiding. Please tell your children about the truth of the world, protect them and give them safety numbers to call. Despite this work framing Chibiusa's naïevity as a good thing in reality if this occoured,  this event can lead to life changing and disasterous effects for the victim.
